Samsung is gearing up to launch new A-series smartphones. The company’s net budget smartphone offering is the Galaxy A22 4G. The device’s support page is already listed on the company’s Russia website. This means that the smartphone’s launch is imminent. Ahead of the launch, the phone is also listed on the NBTC certification website. The listing does not reveal much about the upcoming Samsung smartphone. It, however, does confirm the phone’s moniker and the model number. Design renders and key specifications of the new Samsung smartphone have leaked in the past. Samsung Galaxy A22 NBTC listing
Samsung could launch the Galaxy A22 4G very soon. The smartphone has visited the NBTC certification website ahead of the launch. The listing on NBTC confirms the moniker of the smartphone. It has the model number SM-A225F with the moniker Galaxy A22. The listing does not reveal any further details.
However, we already know the specs and design renders courtesy of previous leaks. The device recently appeared on Geekbench with a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The octa-core processor is paired with 6GB of RAM. We can expect Samsung to launch a 4GB RAM variant of the device as well. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box. It will have a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of Android.
Other specs of the device were leaked previously. It is rumoured to launch with a 6.4-inch HD+ AMOLED display. The screen will sport a waterdrop notch for the front camera. Samsung’s upcoming 4G smartphone is likely to come with a 60Hz refresh rate screen. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. The device will sport a quad-camera setup on the back. It will feature a 48MP primary camera and a 5MP ultrawide sensor. It will also have two 2MP sensors. For selfies, the phone will have a 13MP front camera.
