Apple’s AirPods 3 are tipped to cost a lot more and arrive a lot sooner than you might expect. And now it seems like you have run out of time to save up.

MORE FROM FORBESNew Apple Leaker Promises Surprise AirPods 3 April Release

Following up his AirPods 3 launch leak earlier this month, mysterious Apple tipster UnclePan is back with both an image of the redesigned buds (above) and the shock news that they are ready for release. Moreover, this comes just one day after Apple announced a new event ‘Spring Loaded’ which will take place on April 20.

UnclePan has been steadfast in his belief that the AirPods 3 will launch in April. This flies in the face of both DigiTimes and acclaimed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who claimed Apple had decided to push their release to the third quarter. That said, UnclePan states that Apple is also about to release the Apple Pencil 3 and the Spring Loaded event is expected to focus heavily on new iPad Pros, which adds further credence to his information.

AirPods 3 are understood to have a starting price of $199, which is 25% higher than the $159 entry-point for AirPods gen two. For that, however, they are tipped to have wireless charging as standard as well as the new design seen above, which borrows heavily from AirPods Pro (minus the Active Noise Cancellation).

Demand for new AirPods is likely to be off the scale, so hopes will be high that UnclePan is right. We will know in less than a week.
